The Kel-Tec PMR-30 is a semi-automatic handgun in development by the Kel-Tec firearms company. It will fire .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire rounds, and is expected to come with a 30 round box magazine. One of the major features of the Kel-Tec PMR-30 is a hybrid blowback/locked-breech firing system. This allows different ammunition to be used easily, as the weapon switches between the two depending on the pressure in each cartridge. Although the PMR-30 is not expected to be released until later this year, early users have commented on its remarkable lack of recoil and excellent handling.

Kel-Tec has also developed a fully automatic submachine gun version of the PMR-30 to test its magazine, but currently has no plans for mass production.
